Rectangular Section Control Technology for Silicon Steel Rolling

Rectangular section control technology(RSCT)was introduced to achieve high-precision profile control during silicon steel rolling.The RSCT principle and method were designed,and the whole RSCT control strategy was developed.Specifically,RSCT included roll contour design,rolling technology optimization,and control strategy development,aiming at both hot strip mills(HSMs)and cold strip mills(CSMs).Firstly,through the high-performance variable crown(HVC)work roll optimization design in the upper-stream stands and the limited shifting technology for schedule-free rolling in the downstream stands of HSMs,a hot strip with a stable crown and limited wedge,local spot,and single wave was obtained,which was suitable for cold rolling.Secondly,an approximately rectangular section was obtained by edge varying contact(EVC)work roll contour design,edge-drop setting control,and closed loop control in the upper-stream stands of CSMs.Moreover,complex-mode flatness control was realized by coordinating multiple shape-control methods in the downstream stands of CSMs.In addition,the RSCT approach was applied in several silicon-steel production plants,where an outstanding performance and remarkable economic benefits were observed.     

Fracture Resistance of Ceramics upon Edge Chipping

Modern methods of determining fracture resistance are analyzed. The necessity of developing a crucially new method based on edge chipping of a brittle material is shown. The results of experimental studies are presented. The applicability of the method to the comparative fracture resistance evaluation of ceramics is substantiated.

A tolerant approach to reconstruct topology from unorganized trimmed surfaces

Presented in this paper is a topology reconstruction algorithm from a set of unorganized trimmed surfaces. Error-prone small geometric elements are handled to give proper topological information. It gives complete topology to topologically complete models, and it is also tolerant to incomplete models. The proposed algorithm is vertex-based in that clues for topological information are searched from the set of vertices first, not from that of edges.     

Fundamental solutions for half plane with an oblique edge crack

An elastic half plane with an oblique edge crack is considered in this paper. A pair of concentrated forces or point dislocations is assumed to act at an arbitrary point in the half plane. The half plane with an edge crack is first mapped into a unit circle by a rational mapping function so that the following analysis can be carried out on the mapped plane analytically. Then the complex stress functions are derived by separating the whole problem into two parts; one is the principal part corresponding to the infinite plane acted on by concentrated forces or dislocations, the other is the holomorphic part, which can be determined by making use of the property of regularity of complex stress functions. The stress intensity factors of the crack can be calculated with different inclined angles of the crack, and the displacement and stress components at an arbitrary position in the half plane can be expressed explicitly.

海上无人驻守简易平台设计是降低原油成本的重要手段之一,密闭循环涡轮发电机组(Closed Cycle Vapor Turbogenerator)是海上无人驻守平台上应用最可靠且低维护的远程发电系统。介绍CCVT这种发电机组,并讨论了在海上工程设计中需要考虑的问题,为今后简易平台上电站的选择设计提供参考。     

基于遗传算法的图像边缘信息链表匹配技术

提出了一种基于遗传算法的图像边缘信息链表匹配方法。首先,采用CANNY算子的方法提取图像边缘;然后,将图像边缘信息链表化;最后,基于链表化结果利用遗传算法进行链表匹配。该方法能够减少匹配过程中的计算量,且能实现高效匹配。通过仿真实验,验证了该方法的性能。     

The Content Driven Mobile Internet

The development of future mobile networks will be driven, in large part, by content and web based services. In this paper, we examine several performance, scalability and architectural challenges faced by future mobile web applications and how advanced mobile content delivery techniques can address these challenges. We review existing content delivery using a taxonomy that consists of three categories: network scaling, end system acceleration, and content and protocol optimization. While wireline content delivery focuses on network and server scalability, mobile content delivery will likely benefit most from optimizing radio link usage. We also present our ongoing work in this area, which extends the functionality of edge caching to the terminal, uses user interest correlation information to maintain low terminal power consumption and adds a new dimension to radio resource management. 预测控制算法的统一格式及其在电加热炉的应用

本文根据常用的两类预测控制算法推出一种新型预测控制算法。并将其应用于一双输入/双输出的力学持久机电加热炉的温度控制系统上,获得了满意的结果:控温精度为±1.5℃/300℃,且适用于非最小相位系统。     

图像边缘检测在关节镜图像处理中的应用

主要论述了采用图像边缘检测和图像跟踪算法对采集的关节镜图像进行图像处理和分析的过程。在图像处理的基础上，系统自动测量出指定目标的形状参数，实现了系统的测量要求。本研究为实现关节镜手术过程图像的保存和手术的准确性提供了可行的方法。
